Green Biocide technology for cooling towers was in the limelight at the Pollutec trade show
The 2014 Pollutec trade show provided an opportunity for the AQUAPROX Water Division to come and meet its customers and prospects as well as to present its new visual identity bringing together its subsidiaries HYTEC INDUSTRIE, PROMAIGA SN, CLARFLOK and SMART WATER TRAITEMENT under the same corporate shingle.
This period is still a propitious time in the corporate’s life for presenting its new products, particularly in the field of Biotechnologies.
The conference that AQUAPROX organized at the Pollutec Water Forum enabled stocktaking of the experience acquired over the last two years regarding the use of Green Biocide technology in cooling towers as a replacement for traditional chemical biocides.
Today, this concept has also proven itself in sealed towers as well as in open towers, whether or not the latter were recently built and whether or not they were treated with oxidizing biocides or synthetic biocides. Every configuration was tested successfully (and without using chemical biocide products) in the agrofood, chemical and steel sectors.
Future prospects are opening up for AQUAPROX at the same time as a major innovation for treating water in a way that is environmentally responsible.
In particular, AQUAPROX would like to thank its partner customers – ADP and HAAGEN DÄZS – for their active participation in the conference and for sharing their feedback as pioneering users of this new technology.
The path leading us to the final marketing permit is now a way to the future!

We are pleased to invite you – on Thursday, December4, 2014 – 04:45-05:30 pm – Forum A (Eau)
at a Conference on positive results of one year without any chemicals treatment in cooling towers.
AQUAPROX signed with AMOÉBA an exclusive marketing license for France for an innovative technology, trademarked, 100% bio, opening up a new treatment without chlorine nor organic biocide to cope with Legionella issues in cooling towers.
•In substitution of oxidizing and non-oxidizing biocides.
•Reducing consumption of chemical products (anticorrosion, antiscale)
•Extend equipment lifetime by limiting corrosion effect.
•Compliance with effluent regulations/laws.
Disruptive ecotechnology, adaptation to the economic environment are all assets for a sustainable industry.
